Did you know that stroking a dog or cat can actually lower your blood pressure and make you feel calmer? Even watching fish in a tank can have a soothing effect on your muscles and reduce stress levels.
We have all been spending more time at home and that means more time with the little creatures we share our lives with! Our pets have become co-workers as well as family members as many of us have started working primarily from home.
Florida Senior Care Solutions and members are pleased to introduce you to our beloved animals and hope that you reach out and share your fun pet stories also!
Sophie, Forever a Part of the Schwartz Family
We are true believers in Pet Therapy. Over the past few months of life with Coronavirus, so many are feeling isolation and loneliness.
We find that so many of our clients that have pets - cats or dogs- seem to be doing better as they have something else to focus on.
We were the proud “parents” of Sophie for 13 years . Although we lost her not too long ago, we cherish all the laughs, good times and smiles she brought us.
We often look through many photos of her that showed her adorable personality. They make us smile.
Reports show animal shelters are at their lowest volume as people have reached out to adopt at these times. Maybe it’s time for us...

Cultivating Pineapples is a Labor of Love
by Julaine Lopez-McKenzie, Thrucore Financial Solutions
Cultivating flowers, fruits, and vegetables is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, connect with nature, relieve stress and get some exercise in!
You may recognize the plant here as a pineapple - they have dotted the Florida and Caribbean landscapes for thousands of years. But, did you know it can take up to 24 months for a pineapple to mature? The result is well worth the wait - sweet, juicy and refreshing.
Safety First for Cheerful Transitions!
by Rich Berkowitz, Cheerful Transitions
Regular COVID-19 testing, masks, gloves and protective suits are part of our routine when we assist with moves during this pandemic.
Safety is our top priority for both team members and our valued, often vulnerable, clientele.
It has been an adjustment - and we might look a little funny in our outfits - but we are committed to taking all precautions for as long as necessary.
